The Editorial Policy Committee will take steps to reduce repeat / covert publications by background checking the article in which it is determined that the data is based on an original research study. And checking in the Repository of the National Secretariat for Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, SENESCYT, if there is a similar issue; Google Scholar searches; and Databases with Evidence-Based Medicine.

Articles made with the same database, the Editorial Policy Committee will verify the relevance or not of the evidence in consideration of the database and the data generated according to the approaches, methods of analysis, conclusions that demonstrate whether they differ or not in their methods for the decision making of their publication.

Permissions and plagiarism
For the reproduction of printed or electronic material in other copyrighted publications, it is necessary to attach the written permission of the original author, before submitting it to the CAMbios HECAM Medical-Scientific Journal, following the due editorial process.

The texts must contain original material, unless they are bibliographic or editorial reviews, so the editor reserves the right to investigate whether or not the material submitted has elements of plagiarism. If this is found to be the case, the manuscript will be rejected and the decision will be final.
