Abstract

Research is a fundamental resource in the continuous improvement, updating and generation of new knowledge, for decision-making in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. The information that is evidenced in the clinical histories of the patients with the treatment appropriate offers multiple benefits to society as long as respect is maintained for the rights of people, their confidentiality and the protection of their personal data.
