It is a descriptive study of 72 cases of penetrating keratoplasty, conducted from March 2010 to March 2012 and its respective followed for six months. We analyzed the following variables: age of the recipient and the donor, most common gender, etiology, complications and changes in visual acuity, Keratoconus was the most common cause of penetrating keratoplasty, followed by postoperative bullous keratopathy and infectious keratopathies.
