Ultrasonographically (US) guided core needle orpercutaneus biopsy is currently recognized as a reliable alternative to surgical biopsy for the histopathologic , giving to each patient an optimal managment. The advances in biopsy devices and techniques for sampling the breast lesión make less number of falsenegative results, additionally the operator experience makes ffom this technique the choice to breast lesions diagnostic. To support the effectiveness of this method is important have a radiologic-histologyc correlation y after that the postoperative confirmation. The improve of this technique to obtain better results is essential to avoid errors during the sampling and give an acuracy diagnosis giving to each patient the best treatment as possible. The breast lesión ultrasound visualization is the most important requirement, otherwise we should choose another method to make the biopsy, the better choice always if is possible will be the ultrasound because has many advantages as no radiation use, real time technique visualization, low cost, accessibility and many kind of devices availability to perform the procedure.
