To determine the prevalence of musculoskeletal symptoms associated with work conditions in textile workers. MATERIALS AND METHODS. Observational, descriptive, cross-sectional study, with a convenience sample of 206 workers, divided into 102 workers in the cutting area and 104 in the clothing area in the city of Quito. Inclusion criteria: staff over 18 years of age who work for at least one year. Exclusion criteria: personnel who do not belong to the cutting or sewing area, who are physically disabled or on vacation. For data analysis, the Epi Info program version 7.2 was used. RESULTS. Through logistic regression, it was determined that clothing personnel have a higher risk of developing low back pain (95% CI 1.90-9.37), while for hand and wrist pain, clothing personnel have a factor of protection 0.39 (95% CI 0.17-0.86)
