Soft tissue sarcomas are malignant tumors derived from mesoderm. The MFH is the most common soft tissue sarcoma in adults (20-25%), age group between 50 and 70 years and mainly
affects men, being white population most affected. These mesenchymal tumors with different morphological varieties require immunohistochemical analysis for differential diagnosis, mainly with sarcomatoid carcinoma, inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor and leiomyosarcoma. Grossly are bulky tumors, with multiple areas of necrosis on the surface, from the microscopic point of view the tumor shows a haphazard proliferation of spindle cells with a esteliforme pattern and / or presence of multinucleated cells with atypia, atypical mitosis and stromal collagen sample lot and a variable number of inflammatory mononuclear cells and foamy histiocytes. The diagnosis is made based on their morphology and immunohistochemistry. We report the case of a male patient of 54 years and the way it handled in our department.(4,5).
